Job description
===============

We are looking for a committed developer to implement sophisticated and user-friendly web applications.

We develop python based web applications that are widely used in Europe to support municipalities and regions in their climate protection and energy efficiency activities. 

The applications are using technologies like Pyramid, PostgreSQL, Django, Elastic Stack, Redis ...


Our offer

Payment
===============

Gross salary according to the Austrian IT-Kollektivvertrag 2015 (collective agreement for IT industry): at least 2.393 EUR per month (ST1 Einstiegsstufe) respectively 2.898 EUR per month (ST1 Regelstufe) for 38,5 hours per week, but can be higher depending on work experience and qualification. The salary will be paid 14 times a year.


Your Qualification
===============

We expect work experience or education in the fields of

* developing advanced web-based solutions and web applications, 
* web centric programming languages (namely Python and JavaScript) and frameworks, 
* database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.). 

Note: Experienced web-developers that want to learn Python are also welcome to apply for the job.

Additional qualifications are welcome but not mandatory:

* Pyramid, Django, Plone, Zope, Elastic Stack, Redis ... 
* performance, security and availability optimization, 
* configuration and setup of hosting environments (nginx, Apache, virtualization, etc.), 
* automatic testing and monitoring of applications, 
* knowledge of standard based web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), 
* methods of modern software development (Kanban, Scrum). 


Personal Requirements
===============

* personal commitment and willingness to learn, 
* team oriented work attitude and a high degree of personal responsibility, 
* high quality awareness, 
* perfect knowledge of either German or English. 
* EU citizenship or work permit for Austria

You will work in a multinational team of 14 people (currently 3 python developers) with different backgrounds and expertise.
